In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third-party servers, not even fonts. I only process data when you write to me via the contact form, and then only to reply to you.

Visiting the website
When you visit this website, your browser automatically transmits technical data to the server: your IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the status code of the response and the identifier of your browser (user agent). The server writes this data to log files. I need them to run the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The website runs on its own server. The connection is encrypted via HTTPS.
Contact form
When you write to me via the form, I process your name, your email address and your message. In addition, there are two technical fields with no connection to you as a person that fend off spam: a field invisible to humans that must remain empty, and the time at which you opened the page.
This is how the processing works:
- Your details are sent encrypted to my server. There, a small service checks them and sends them as an email to my mailbox. It then discards them. There is no database and no stored copy on the server, and no external form service is involved.
- The email then sits in my mailbox, with your email address as the reply-to address.
- For each request, the service only logs whether the message was delivered and the IP address. It does not log the content of your message.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: I have a legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. If it concerns a specific agreement between us, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. I do not pass your message on to third parties. Once your enquiry has been dealt with and there is no obligation to retain it, I delete the email.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media services. Fonts and images are hosted on my own server.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21). To do so, simply send me an email.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
